Contractor Pre-qualification Requirements

Pre-qualification for general contractors is required when bids for a project exceed $500,000. Sub-contractors are expected to be pre-qualified if they are in the following trades and the bid for that trade is expected to exceed $500,000:

• Electrical

• Mechanical, Dry-side

• Mechanical, Wet-side

It is mandatory that all general or Sub-contractors, who intend to submit a bid, fully complete the pre-qualification questionnaire, provide all materials requested therein, and be approved by the District to be on the final Qualified Bidders list.

The Pre-qualification process will be soliciting interested contractors in the months of

• May 2011
• Aug. 2011
• Nov. 2011
