Instructions for School Site Cleanliness Inspection
The purpose of this inspection is one part of the action plan to accomplish Strategic Goal #4: Maintain an outstanding level of cleanliness and repair at all school facilities. This inspection will determine the level of cleanliness at a school site and target areas that are in need improvement.
Each site will be inspected twice per year, once in October and once in March. The Custodial Manager will schedule the inspections at each school site prior to October and March. These inspections will normally be scheduled in the morning. The Custodial Manager or designee will conduct this inspection with the Site Administrator or designee. Each inspector will make notes or use the School Site Cleanliness Inspection Form.

Follow-up and Correction:
The Site Administrator and Custodial Manager will use this inspection to identify and correct deficiencies in site cleanliness. They will jointly address all deficiencies, and if necessary, design a plan for a follow up inspection to insure satisfactory corrections have been made. If improvements are not made by the next bi-annual inspection, the mark shall be considered unsatisfactory, points will be removed and the site score lowered.
