A letter to parents regarding the Overflow Process

The Department of Elementary Education is responsible for supporting and aligning the goals of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District by providing support and services to our twenty elementary schools. This department supports the implementation of the California State Content Standards for our elementary students.

Our department coordinates the following at the Elementary level:

• Implementation of standards-aligned instructional materials

• Benchmark and End-of-Year Assessments

• Report Cards

• Retention and Promotion

• Extended School Year and Extended Day Program

• Student Enrollment

• Student Interventions
