Brief Biography

Reverend David C. Isom is the proud Pastor of the St. Stephen CME Church, Fairfield, CA and is also the Director of Domestic Violence Services for the Life Development Resource Center, Lacey, WA. He served for the several years as Director of Faith Partners Against Family Violence of Associated Ministries-Tacoma/Pierce County, one of the largest Ecumenical Ministries in the US. His work includes developing and consulting with a wide variety of programs, and conducting hundreds of presentations, workshops, and in-service trainings. He has provided technical resources and support to the Faith Community, including Seattle University; Pacific Lutheran University; the District Attorney’s Office of Dallas, TX; the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence; the Presiding Elders Council (CMEC); and many other venues. Reverend Isom has been instrumental in the creation of numerous programs and the implementation of strategies that address Domestic Violence within the Faith Community.
